The Office Manager , reporting to the Food Service Director , is responsible for exhibiting polite and professional communication via phone, and e-mail;

must collaborate with other support personnel, management and clients as required to ensure timely and detailed completion of administrative tasks.

Your work will include :

  • Complete and process internal paperwork for HR (job postings on Smart Recruiters, new hire checklists, staff orientation)
  • Complete weekly payroll
  • Create and email client catering invoices
  • Create purchase orders & inform vendors of correct invoicing process
  • Track weekly purchases and cross reference for verification against NetSuite actual results
  • Work directly Food Service Director to understand financials and deliver actions to achieve success
  • Send out monthly client financial statements in conjunction with Food Service Director oversight
  • Assist with Food Safety & Health Safety Auditing and action items as well as entering action plans into the Steritech platform
  • Participate in monthly JHSC meetings, take notes & post minutes
  • Enter daily cash reports
  • Assist with Catering inquiries
  • Assist with weekly order submissions
  • Enter all required Franchise reports
  • Complete labour reports as required
  • Post weekly schedules

Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills : Advanced Excel and Outlook are necessary
  • Knowledge of payroll processes and systems
  • Organizing and prioritizing are the core elements of this role. You must know how to keep yourself organized and how to determine which tasks are the most important.
  • Writing with excellent spelling, punctuation, sentence structure. Must be proficient in a variety of styles, from creative to professional to technical to education and more.
  • A minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience prefered
  • A clear criminal record check is required for this role
  • Knowledge of a retail & catering food service environment
