Fills-in Shift Production Reports using internal report software.
Carries out quality control checks using internal check sheets.
Manages the survey equipment ensuring it is suitable for the works and in calibration. Supports surveyor when required.
Measures materials usage and provides quantity information for preparation of material requisitions.
Keeps track of Muck Haulage quantities and compares with TBM Scales Recordings for system calibration.
Monitors TBM Advance parameters and ensures they are in accordance with Permit to tunnel.
Fills in the ring-built production report.
Carries out on-site testing of materials and products as required.
Collects samples of material (backfill grout, excavated soil) when required, providing immediate feedback to Tunnel Foreman / TBM Operator.
Reads and understands method statements and makes sure that site operations follow these methods accurately reporting any variances to supervisors and his supervising engineer.
Effective communication of technical information to the workforce and technical support during operations.
Provide feedback to supervising engineers / managers on the effectiveness of work performed.
What You Bring to the Table :
Minimum of 1 or 2 years of experience working on a TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine) project.
Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an Engineering discipline. Civil, Structural, or Mechanical preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills in communicating with a large team.
Intermediate to expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks within a high-pressure work site environment.
Interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees.
Willingness for continuous learning and advancement of technical knowledge.
