Forklift Operator

If this sounds like you then this might be the job for you! Randstad's Industrial Division is recruiting for a forklift operator for a busy concrete production company in Calgary.

The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience operating all terrain forklifts in a manufacturing or construction setting.

Additionally, they will need to be comfortable with heavy lifting and working in a noisy, dirty and dusty production environment.

You need to be ready and willing to roll your sleeves up and help out your team!

Shift : Monday -Thursday, 6AM-4 : 30PM, with opportunity for more hours

Wage : $23 / hr

Responsibilities

What will your daily responsibilities look like?

• Operating the Counterbalance Forklift ( Counterbalance Cat. 4500 lbs lifting capacity)
• Working with other departments to ensure steady work flow
• Maintains a clean and organized work area
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs (average weight 30lbs)
• Any other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating a forklift in a construction / manufacturing / production / industrial setting to expedite the training process.

Internal certification will be provided

MUST - PPE- Metatarsal steel toe boots

• ability to work in a busy and noisy environment
• ability to work in a fast paced production environment
• ability to work in a dusty production environment
• ability to work independently and in a team environment
• ability to stand for up to 8 hours
• ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively
• access to reliable transportation
• flexibility to work 8-12 hour shifts Monday to Friday
