Position :

This is a full-time, permanent position.

Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, neurodiversity-affirming environment? CFASA is seeking a dedicated SLP to join our growing team in Calgary. If you believe in honoring each individual’s unique communication style and strengths, collaborating with families, and working within a values-driven organization, we would love to meet you!

Why Choose CFASA?

At CFASA, we recognize that recruiting exceptional SLPs is competitive, and we are committed to ensuring that our team members feel valued, supported, and empowered in their work. Here’s what sets us apart :

  • A Neurodiversity-Affirming Practice – We prioritize autonomy, self-determination, and child-led, strengths-based approaches that align with current best practices in the field of speech-language pathology and autism support.
  • Work-Life Balance – Enjoy a flexible Monday-to-Friday schedule with opportunities to bank time for additional days off. We also offer a hybrid work model , allowing you to provide some services online and some in person.
  • Competitive Compensation & Benefits – We offer a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and an RRSP match to support your financial well-being.
  • Professional Growth & Mentorship – CFASA is committed to continuous learning , offering paid professional development, access to a resource library, and ongoing mentorship from experienced clinicians and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Supportive Team Culture – We are a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that values diversity, inclusion, and the voices of autistic individuals and families . You’ll work alongside professionals who share a commitment to meaningful, child- and family-centered interventions.
  • Signing & Retention Bonus – To show our appreciation, we offer a signing bonus to new SLPs joining our team.

Your Role as an SLP at CFASA :

As an SLP with CFASA, you will provide person- and family-centered services to children, teens, and their families across home, school, and community settings. Your role includes :

  • Building trusting, positive relationships with children and their families to create a foundation for meaningful communication growth.
  • Providing neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based speech-language supports in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Using naturalistic, child-led approaches that honor autonomy and self-advocacy while supporting skill development.
  • Offering parent coaching and consultation to enhance communication in everyday life.
  • Providing direct intervention and guiding interventionists.
  • Staying current with evidence-based practices and contributing to continuous improvement within our organization.
  • Who We’re Looking For :

We are seeking an enthusiastic SLP who shares our commitment to neurodiversity-affirming practices and is eager to work in an inclusive, collaborative, and innovative environment.

    Requirements :

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and registration with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).
  • Preference given to experience supporting autistic children and their families.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience working across varied environments (home, school, community).
  • Commitment to professionalism, ethics, and ongoing learning.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel within Calgary and surrounding areas (mileage is reimbursed).
  • Current Criminal Record Check and Child Intervention Check (costs reimbursed by CFASA).
  • Current professional liability insurance.
  • Valid certification in Child and Infant CPR and First Aid (reimbursed by CFASA).
  • Join Us in Making a Difference!

CFASA is more than just a workplace—it’s a community. Our team members come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique perspectives that enrich the lives of the families we serve. If you’re ready to grow your career in a meaningful way and be part of a forward-thinking, supportive team, we encourage you to apply!
