About the Opportunity

• Manage the consolidation and summarized financial results process for companies within the corporate segment on a quarterly and annual basis for internal management reporting and regulatory requirements
• Lead the execution of complex technical accounting steps and issues, including the coordination with other business units and departments
• Lead the monthly financial close cycles and identify opportunities to implement practical changes to drive improvements and efficiencies
• Review daily journal entries and period end accruals
• Manage the Finance team’s responsibilities in shared service functions across treasury and accounts payable
• Collaborate regularly with and respond to the business and finance inquiries from other business groups and departments
• Review the work of junior team members and provide mentorship to them
• Continuously look for efficiency in our processes, tools and reports and make suggestions to implement these into our framework
• Lead special projects as assigned

About You

• Recognized professional accounting designation (CPA)
• Four to six (4-6) years of progressive work experience in an accounting or auditing function
• Experience with public company reporting requirements under IFRS
• Strong financial systems experience, including advanced Excel skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, HFM and / or Workiva would be an asset

Salary

$120,000 - $125,000 / year
