Scrum Master

Here's some of what you'll be doing :

• Effectively facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning (estimation, refinement), sprint demo, and retrospective meetings.
• Ensure clear communication and organization of all team objectives.
• Promote continuous improvement and help teams to increase productivity. Always looking for ways to improve the process to increase velocity and quality.
• Protect the team from outside interruptions and distractions to achieve project goals by removing external blockers and addressing internal roadblocks.
• Provide support to the team using a servant leadership style and leading by example.
• Ensuring the correct use of scrum processes, helping to guide, develop and mature the processes over time. By identifying areas for improvement and action items for future sprints.
• Administer the Scrum board, ensuring cards are up to date.
• Consult with team members and internal stakeholders on working effectively with the Scrum team. Including meeting individually with team members and stakeholders to address process or work style disagreements.

Here's some of what you'll bring to the table :

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role in a software development team.
• Familiarity with software development.
• Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement).
• Good skills in facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
• Scrum master certification (CSM, PSM I) is preferred.
