These tools help our partners improve their customers' experiences efficiently. To achieve this goal, we are looking for a Senior Product Manager who specializes in creating user interface SDKs and white-label solutions for both web and mobile platforms.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute a strategic product plan to improve cardholder experiences, focusing on SDKs and white-label applications for web and mobile platforms.
  • Lead Marqeta's initiative to create versatile and intuitive interfaces through SDKs and white-label solutions, recognizing their importance in enhancing brand loyalty and user engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure SDKs and white-label applications are designed with a user-centric approach, aiming for maximum engagement and satisfaction.
  • Perform extensive research, including user interviews, to understand and cater to the evolving needs of cardholders across different digital platforms.
  • Define and refine user personas for those interacting with web and mobile native applications, ensuring a deep understanding of their requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs to assess the effectiveness, utility, and user-friendliness of SDKs, white-label applications, and the overall user experience.
  • Work with external partners, stakeholders, and developers to gather feedback and continuously improve the SDK and white-label offerings, aligning with Marqeta's goals.
  • Act as Marqeta's leading expert on cardholder user experience, especially in developing SDKs and white-label applications for various digital environments.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on developing SDKs and white-label applications, and collaborating with product design teams to improve user experiences for cardholders on web and mobile native platforms.
  • A proven track record in designing, launching, and enhancing SDKs and white-label applications that meet user needs and provide exceptional experiences across various digital platforms.
  • A deep understanding of the nuances in cardholder experiences, both in web applications and mobile native contexts.
  • Expertise in contemporary product development methodologies, especially those related to SDK and white-label application development, user experience enhancements, and effective collaboration with product design teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A strong commitment to user-centered design, eager to work with product design teams to create unmatched experiences for cardholders.
  • Advanced analytical abilities, with a knack for making decisions based on data.

Nice-To-Haves

  • Holding relevant certifications or formal training in SDK development or user experience design.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with large-scale enterprise products or platforms, catering to diverse user bases.
  • Prior involvement in fintech or payment industries and understanding these sectors' unique challenges and opportunities.
  • Fluency in current design tools, frameworks, and best practices in creating optimal and compelling user experiences.
  • Contributions to open-source projects, publications / articles in relevant industry journals or platforms.

Compensation and Benefits

Marqeta is a Flex First company which allows you to choose your best working environment, whether that be from home or at a company office.

To support Flex First, we calibrate pay to a competitive value according to working location.

When determining salaries, we consider several factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior experience, and work location.

The new-hire base salary range for this position, reflected in CAD, is : 103,000 - 137,000
