Our client, a leader consulting firm is looking for a Financial Insolvency Advisor to join the Personal Debt Solution team.

This is a great opportunity for Junior and Intermediate Finance professionals who want to grow and level up in their career !

Responsibilities

  • Assist debtors and creditors, both in person and by telephone, as it relates to bankruptcies and proposals
  • Perform initial consultations in order to assess the individual’s situation

and recommend appropriate options, training will be provided

  • Review interview forms, prepare files / documents for client signing
  • Community outreach, business development and presentations

Qualifications

  • 1 / 2 year minimum of experience as a financial advisor
  • Experience in insolvency / debt type role is a big asset
  • Willingness to complete or have completed the BIA Administrator Insolvency Course
  • Bilingualism in English French is a big plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to prioritize with the flexibility to manage multiples tasks and a variable workload as required
  • Must be able to liaise well with staff and outside parties
  • Car and valid driver license to travel when necessary
