We are seeking a Marketing & Proposal Coordinator to support our Business Development team. The role will provide content development, writing, and design for our website, social media channels, email newsletters, and proposals.
The ideal candidate will create opportunities to engage with prospective and existing clients, and our broader design network.
Experience with Adobe InDesign is strongly preferred. Appreciation for architecture and design is a must. Open to full-time candidates in Calgary, Toronto, Vancouver, and Victoria.

Marketing :
- Content development and layout of case studies, marketing decks, and proposal inserts using existing templates.
- Maintain and update Cygnus’ website including scheduled case studies and news updates.
- Maintain and update Cygnus’ social media profiles, including scheduled paid and unpaid content updates.
- Maintain schedule, prepare assets, and publish semi-regular email newsletters.
- Contribute to the upkeep of internal marketing resources, staff CVs, and client testimonials.
Proposals :
- Review formal RFPs and other proposal requests to develop an understanding of the client goals and project requirements.
- Coordinate with Principals and other members of the Business Development team.
- Lead the development of proposals including written narratives, visual content, and layout with subject matter input from the project team.
- Collect and adapt visual imagery, case studies, and other assets.
- Adhere to RFP requirements, timelines, questions and addenda, and submission deadlines.
Requirements :

- Strong communication skills and professional etiquette.
- Excellent time management and ability to define priorities.
- Able to absorb concepts and develop industry knowledge quickly.
- Able to up-manage senior staff.
- Appreciation for design, architecture, and urban development.
- Experience working in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Proficiency in Mac OS & G Suite platforms.
Compensation & B enefits
- Salary : $55,000 - $70,000 CAD (commensurate with experience)
- Benefits : Supplementary health and dental benefits after a 3-month probationary period.
