Job description
Our Burnaby-based government client is looking for a motivated Business Analyst to drive the success of an impactful and fast-paced project. Responsibilities
Review and evaluate end‑to‑end financial forecasting processes to identify improvement opportunities and articulate clear business requirements.
Lead the gathering, validation, and documentation of business and functional requirements related to budget management, cash flow forecasting, financial reporting, and accountability mechanisms.
Conduct gap analyses between current and desired future states and identify optimization opportunities.
Translate business needs into clear and actionable functional specifications.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in business analysis, project coordination, or a similar role.
• Experience working on projects, particularly in process improvement, data analysis, or operational optimization.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
