The Network Support Engineer works under the general supervision of the Director, Enterprise Infrastructure and is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing the organization's network infrastructure. This role serves as a bridge between Network Administration and Network Engineering, focusing on network performance, troubleshooting complex issues, security enhancements, and project support. This position requires a strong technical background with hands-on experience in routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and network security. While network infrastructure is the primary focus, some user support will be required, particularly for network-related issues.
Note : This position qualifies for an optional hybrid work schedule after 90 days of onsite work and onboarding. Employee will be subject to the terms of the Flexible Work Policy Agreement.
What you'll do
Network Operations & Support
- Support, maintain, and troubleshoot the enterprise network, including LAN, WAN, and wireless environments.
- Diagnose and resolve complex network performance and connectivity issues using tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, and packet capture analysis.
- Configure and maintain Cisco networking equipment, including routers, switches, and wireless AP and controllers.
- Manage and support Palo Alto Firewalls, including security policies, NAT, and threat prevention.
- Support Palo Alto Global Protect VPN, ensuring secure remote access for users.
- Work with ISPs and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve WAN connectivity issues.

The estimated salary for this position is $110,000 - $130,000. In determining final salary, Seaspan considers many factors including the successful Candidate's skillset and experience as well as position location and internal equity. The final base salary offer will be at the Company's sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.
