Reach Forklift Operator – Temporary-to-Permanent Opportunity
Location : Richmond Hill / Markham (near 404 and 16th)
Pay : $22 / hr
Hours : 8 : 30 AM to 5 PM or 11 : 30 AM to 8 PM
Days : Monday to Friday
Employment Type : TTP

This Temporary-to-Permanent (TTP) position offers a clear pathway to permanent employment, with previous team members successfully transitioning to full-time roles. Responsibilities
Operate the reach forklift safely and efficiently for tasks such as loading, unloading, putting away, and replenishing inventory.
Pick, pack, and process customer sales and repair orders accurately and promptly.
Prepare and verify shipping documents, including Bills of Lading (BOLs) for domestic and international shipments.
Handle incoming shipments by unloading, unpacking, and storing items in designated warehouse locations.
Conduct rack-specific inventory checks and ensure accurate inventory control using warehouse management systems (e.g., ERP systems such as JDE or SAP).
Monitor and report product quality issues to Warehouse Management.
Perform cycle counts and document any discrepancies, reporting findings to management.
Assist with refurbishing, receiving, and other warehouse tasks as needed.
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Utilize material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks or carts, for non-forklift-related tasks.
Monitor shipping and receiving supplies, notifying the Warehouse Administrator when inventory is low.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
2-3 years of proven experience operating a reach forklift in a warehouse setting.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficient in warehouse management systems, with experience in ERP systems such as JDE or SAP is a must
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and push / pull up to 50+ lbs as needed.
Familiarity with inventory control procedures and cycle counts.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be computer literate and experienced in maintaining accurate records of warehouse activities.
