Description
:Position Summary:
The Manager, Financial Systems- Supply Chain plays a key operational leadership role within the Business Technology Finance team. This position is responsible for overseeing the financial systems landscape, ensuring alignment between Finance, IT, and Supply Chain functions, and driving continuous improvement across ERP platforms and related technologies. The Manager will lead a team of Analysts and serve as the key liaison for cross-functional initiatives, including supply chain implementations, system upgrades, and integration projects.
This role requires a deep understanding of financial processes, inventory accounting, systems architecture, and project management. The Manager will ensure the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of financial data flows and reporting, while fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management
Lead and mentor a team of Senior Financial Systems Analysts.
Optimize resource allocation across support and enhancement initiatives.
Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Operational Support & System Optimization
Provide escalation support for complex financial system issues.
Ensure timely resolution of production incidents and enhancement requests.
Drive automation and process improvements across financial systems.
Maintain data integrity across ERP, WMS, and TMS integrations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with Supply Chain and IT on system enhancements and implementations.
Ensure finance requirements are well-documented and tested for reporting, controls, and operations.
Manage communications with Finance stakeholders regarding system changes and fixes.
Collaborate with IT to troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly and with minimal business disruption.
Represent Finance in cross-functional initiatives and build strong relationships across business units.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
- Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in financial systems, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV/D365, an asset), WMS, and TMS (Manhattan). Preferably experienced with the full project cycle of implementations and upgrades
- Strong understanding of inventory accounting, costing, and financial controls.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Tableau, and Microsoft Access.
- Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional projects and teams.
