Job descriptionHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school a plus. 1-3 years of experience in overhead door installation or repair preferred (training available for the right candidate). Strong mechanical skills and familiarity with electrical components. Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work at heights and in various weather conditions. Valid driver’s license with clean driving record. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Overhead Door Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead and roll-up doors for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Install, repair, and maintain a variety of overhead doors, roll-up doors, automatic doors, dock levelers, and related hardware.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and structural issues related to door systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Provide clear communication to customers regarding work performed, issues identified, and maintenance recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Drive company vehicle to service locations in a safe and professional manner.
