Job Title : Supervisor, Engineering Job Summary The engineering supervisor manages a team of engineers, overseeing daily operations, tasks assignments and ensuring quality work while providing technical support and mentorship Responsibility
- Oversees daily activities of engineering staff, ensuring tasks are completed on time and meet quality standards
- Manage project budgets, track expenses and ensure cost control measures are in place.
- Assign, train, develop and supervise manufacturing engineers, student engineers, outside vendors
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team, ensuring they have the resources and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Identify and implement process improvements and / or new technologies to increase efficiency and productivity
- Assists in planning and coordination of new engineering analysis tools, such as CAD, CAD / CAM system, CAT, quotation sheet
- Liaise with other departments (., production, materials, QA) to coordinate activities and resolve issues
- Oversees the design, development and implementation of manufacturing processes and systems
- Ensure that all manufacturing processes meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations and safety standards protocols
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies to incorporate best practices into engineering processes
- Set goals, evaluate performance and provide feedback and development opportunities for team members
- Monitor and enforce quality control processes to maintain high standards of work
