About this opportunity

On behalf of our client, we’re looking for an experienced

Technology Architect

to support

Email Services

within a Public Sector Organization. This requirement is for a professional with specialized expertise to provide Tier-3 support for enterprise Email services within DND Classified Networks. The selected resource will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, installing, configuring, integrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting email services solutions to ensure these ecosystems are properly configured and capable of supporting the IM / IT services essential to meeting evolving operational requirements.

What You’ll Do

Provide Tier-3 technical support and resolve complex incidents and issues related to integrated Email services ecosystems, including performing root cause analysis and remediation.

Design, implement, and maintain Email Services components including Microsoft Exchange Server, Client Access Services (Outlook, mobile, web), Transport Services (SMTP / MAPI / POP / IMAP - Transport routes), Edge Transport Server (DMZ – Internal / external organizations), Unified Messaging and Database Availability Groups.

Prepare technical documents.

Prepare and Review RFCs.

Liaison with departmental technical groups and integration teams.

Hybrid work environment.

What You Bring

GOC Secret security clearance.

10 years of experience working as a technical architect on Email systems.

10 years of planning, developing, validating, and implementing enterprise Email architecture.

Experience with the Microsoft Exchange Server platform and Active Directory.

Security Clearance

All candidates must possess a current and valid federal government Secret Clearance.

Nice to Have

Experience using directory synchronization tools.

Experience implementing disaster recovery and high availability software.

Experience performing a major upgrade of an Email system.
