Our 360° care model combines nursing oversight, personalized care plans, and tight collaboration with hospitals, retirement residences, and family physicians.
We are growing across Milton and the broader Halton Region and looking for a Business Development Representative who is energized by relationships, motivated by impact, and ready to be the trusted face of Qualicare in our community.
What you will do• Build and grow a referral pipeline of hospitals, retirement and assisted living residences, rehab centres, family physicians, social workers, discharge planners, and community organizations.
• Conduct 25–40 in-person and virtual outreach touchpoints per week across your territory.
• Host educational lunch-and-learns, attend community events, and represent Qualicare at industry meetings.
• Partner with our Care team to ensure a seamless handoff from referral to service start.
• Track all activity in our CRM, report weekly on pipeline and conversion, and adjust your outreach based on what is working.
• Help shape and execute our local marketing presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, and through community sponsorships.
Who you are• 1–3+ years in business development, sales, healthcare liaison, account management, community outreach, or a similar relationship-driven role.
• You genuinely enjoy meeting people and you do not need to be told to follow up.
• You handle a "no" with grace and a "not yet" with persistence.
• You can speak comfortably with a hospital discharge planner one hour and a worried adult child the next.
• You are organized, CRM-comfortable, and you treat your calendar like a sales tool.
• Healthcare, senior living, home care, hospice, pharma, or medical device experience is a strong asset — but heart, hustle, and credibility matter more than the resume on paper.
• Valid Ontario driver's licence and reliable vehicle (territory work is in-person).
