In this contract position, the SAP Finance Consultant will be responsible for supporting various activities related to the transition to S / 4HANA and ensuring seamless implementation.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE :

Assisting in the understanding and analysis of process impacts due to the transition to S / 4HANA.

Providing support for quality assurance, user acceptance testing (UAT), data conversion, training, operational readiness, business ramp-down / ramp-up, hyper care, and post-go-live support.

Conducting training sessions for sector business units and support teams.

Investigating and troubleshooting issues to support business sectors effectively.

Assisting clients in preparing for system implementation by providing necessary clarifications and insights.

Supporting data conversion activities, including analysis and issue resolution as needed.

Collaborating with sector stakeholders to refine, enhance, and clarify business changes and facilitate solution adoption.

WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL NEED TO DO THE JOB :

Required Qualifications :

Minimum of 5 years of experience in asset accounting, capital policies, plant maintenance / capital investment orders, and amortization.

Proficiency in SAP Project Systems (PS) and Investment Management (IM).

Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Experience in budgeting and forecasting processes.

5+ years of experience in data analysis.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Willing to work in Hybrid model.

Desired Qualifications :

Experience working with SAP CPS (Project Systems and Investment Management) in operational settings or project-based environments.

Familiarity with Public Sector Accounting Board standards.

Understanding of SAP ecosystem integration points across various finance-related modules.

Knowledge of process management using SAP Solution Manager.

Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Scrum, Lean Six Sigma, and Change Management (PROSCI).

Experience in delivering training on SAP solutions, specifically in Project Systems and Investment Management.
