Job description
A growing automotive manufacturing facility is seeking licensed Millwrights to support operations across multiple manufacturing processes including stamping, robotic welding, injection molding, CNC machining, laser cutting, roll forming, and final assembly.

This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically strong professionals who thrive in fast-paced industrial environments and enjoy troubleshooting complex automated equipment, robotics, conveyors, sensors, and integrated production systems. The ideal candidate comes from a Tier 1 or high-volume automotive manufacturing environment and is comfortable working with advanced automation and robotics technologies.

Location - Vaughan, ON
Shift - Choose between straight days/afternoons/nights
Pay - $40-45 + shift premiums

Responsibilities
Perform preventative, predictive, and emergency maintenance on production and automation equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated manufacturing systems
Support stamping presses, robotic welding cells, injection molding equipment, CNC machinery, conveyors, and assembly systems
Diagnose issues related to sensors, cameras, cables, vision systems, motors, bearings, gearboxes, and automated controls
Work closely with automation and electrical teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability
Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, schematics, and maintenance documentation
Complete equipment installations, rebuilds, alignments, changeovers, and machinery modifications
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on uptime, safety, and production efficiency
Maintain accurate maintenance records and support plant 5S and safety initiatives
Assist with troubleshooting robotic and automated systems integrated with Allen Bradley and Omron technologies

Qualifications
Valid 433A Industrial Millwright license required
Previous experience in automotive manufacturing strongly preferred
Experience supporting automated production equipment in high-volume manufacturing environments
Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, robotics, and industrial mechanical systems
Experience working around robotics, automation, vision systems, sensors, and integrated manufacturing lines
Ability to troubleshoot in fast-paced production environments with minimal supervision
