Junior Investor Reporting Account Analyst
Vancouver, BC or Calgary, AB
Salary Range : $45,000 - $50,000 / yr
CMLS Financial, one of Canada’s largest Commercial lenders, is looking for a Junior Investor Reporting Account Analyst to join our growing team. The Investor Reporting Account Analyst is responsible for managing reputational risk by ensuring that the reports provided to our Investors are accurate and timely, therefore maintaining our positive relationship with them. This individual works closely with the Investor team and business stakeholders to proactively identify issues within our servicing portfolio so that they can be resolved without impacting internal and external stakeholders. Our successful candidate will have detailed industry and securitization knowledge and previous work experience with the NHA Mortgage-backed Securities program.
About the Role
- Prepare monthly reconciliations in accordance with internal standards and procedures, ensuring balances and activities reported are accurate, timely and within the investor guidelines
- Complete remittance reports to the investor in accordance with investor guidelines and contractual agreements
- Prepare remittance transfers to investors daily or as required
- Work with the investor and / or custodian in meeting existing reporting requirements as well as any change requests, answer questions and address concerns as required
- Pool mortgages for sale to investors as mortgage-backed securities.
- Prepare and submit all government required forms and documents
- Balance all sales and liquidations daily
- Complete investor set up on servicing-based system to ensure accuracy
- Help to identify gaps in process and work within the team to improve efficiencies
- Analyze, research, and resolve errors and reporting differences as communicated through reports, email transmissions or verbal inquiries
- Support both internal and external audit requirements
- Comply with all internal standards and guidelines as well as all federally and provincially regulated policies and laws as related to Investor Servicing, Investor Reporting, Securitization, NHA, CMB, MBS, and Privacy laws
