Description

:

The Senior Analyst, FCRM Quality Assurance – Professional Practices is responsible for performing independent second-level reviews of Quality Assurance (QA) assessments completed by QA Analysts across FCRM QA Operations teams. The role provides effective challenge to QA outcomes, promotes consistency in the application of QA standards, and ensures alignment with established QA methodology, procedures, and regulatory expectations.

As part of the QA Professional Practices team, this role supports the overall quality, accuracy, and defensibility of QA results, contributes to continuous improvement of QA execution, and reinforces enterprise-wide QA standards within Financial Crime Risk Management.

Accountabilities

  • Conduct independent second-level reviews of QA assessments performed by QA Analysts to validate accuracy, consistency, and adherence to approved QA procedures, scorecards, and review standards.
  • Provide effective challenge on QA conclusions, ratings, and supporting rationale to ensure findings are evidence-based, clearly documented, and defensible.
  • Identify errors, inconsistencies, or gaps in QA execution and drive timely resolution in accordance with established QA escalation protocols.
  • Ensure QA results appropriately reflect procedural adherence, risk materiality, and applicable regulatory expectations.
  • Promote consistent application of QA methodology and standards across FCRM QA Operations teams and workstreams.
  • Identify recurring quality themes, execution gaps, or training opportunities arising from second‑level review activities and escalate insights to QA Professional Practices leadership as appropriate.
  • Provide constructive feedback and targeted coaching to QA Analysts to strengthen quality, judgment, and documentation practices.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of QA procedures, templates, scorecards, desk guides, and Professional Practices documentation.
  • Support QA training initiatives, calibration exercises, and quality forums, as required.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of second-level review outcomes in QA trackers, systems, and reporting tools.
  • Support preparation of QA quality insights, trend analysis, and governance level reporting related to QA effectiveness and control health.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with QA Operations, QA Professional Practices leadership, and key FCRM stakeholders.
  • Act as a subject matter resource on QA standards, second-level review expectations, and best practices within FCRM QA.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Crime, AML/ATF, Investigations, Risk Management, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Audit within a regulated financial services environment.
  • Demonstrated experience performing independent review, quality control, second-level review, or oversight functions.
  • Strong understanding of FCRM investigative processes, regulatory obligations, and control environments.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Sound professional judgment and ability to provide constructive and effective challenge.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate findings and rationale for governance audiences.
  • Ability to interpret and apply procedures, standards, and regulatory requirements consistently.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence outcomes without direct authority.
