The Opportunity

Highspring is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join a Digital Channels Quality team supporting web, mobile, API, and backend application delivery. This role is embedded within Agile teams and extends well beyond traditional QA execution.

We are looking for a proactive consultant who can influence quality from the earliest stages of the software development lifecycle through a Shift-Left approach. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with developers, analysts, architects, and delivery leaders while helping drive continuous improvement across quality practices and delivery processes.

Engagement Details

• Location: Montreal, QC
• Work Model: Hybrid (2 days/week onsite)
• Language Requirements: Bilingual (French / English)

What You'll Do

• Analyze business requirements and define testing strategies early in the delivery lifecycle.
• Design, execute, and continuously improve manual and automated testing approaches.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test suites.
• Participate in API, web, mobile, backend, security, and performance testing activities.
• Build and manage test data required for validation activities.
• Monitor defects, production incidents, and customer-reported issues while supporting timely resolution.
• Collaborate closely with developers using Shift-Left testing practices.
• Contribute to solution design discussions from a quality assurance perspective.
• Promote quality engineering best practices across Agile teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve QA processes and the overall software development lifecycle.
• Maintain source-controlled testing assets and automation code using Git.
• Share knowledge and contribute to the evolution of quality practices across teams.

What You Bring to the Table

• 5+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst.
• Strong experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and challenge established approaches constructively.
• Strong ownership mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Curiosity for emerging technologies and modern software delivery practices.

Highspring est à la recherche d’un(e) Analyste principal(e) en assurance qualité pour se joindre à une équipe responsable de la qualité des canaux numériques soutenant des applications Web, mobiles, API et backend. Ce rôle est intégré aux équipes Agile et va bien au-delà de l’exécution traditionnelle des tests.

Nous recherchons une personne proactive capable d’influencer la qualité dès les premières phases du cycle de développement logiciel grâce à une approche Shift-Left. Le ou la consultant(e) travaillera en étroite collaboration avec les développeurs, analystes, architectes et responsables de livraison afin d’améliorer continuellement les pratiques de qualité et les processus de développement.

Ce que vous ferez

• Analyser les besoins d’affaires et définir les stratégies de tests dès le début du cycle de livraison.
• Concevoir, exécuter et optimiser les approches de tests manuels et automatisés.
• Développer, maintenir et faire évoluer les suites de tests automatisés.
• Participer aux tests d’API, Web, mobiles, backend, de sécurité et de performance.
• Créer et maintenir les données de tests nécessaires aux activités de validation.
• Assurer le suivi des anomalies, incidents de production et enjeux signalés par les utilisateurs.
• Collaborer étroitement avec les développeurs dans une approche Shift-Left.
• Participer aux discussions d’architecture et de conception en représentant la perspective qualité.
• Promouvoir les meilleures pratiques d’assurance qualité auprès des équipes Agile.
• Identifier et mettre en œuvre des améliorations continues des processus QA et du cycle de développement logiciel.
• Maintenir les actifs de tests et le code d’automatisation dans un environnement contrôlé par Git.
• Contribuer à l’évolution des pratiques QA par le partage de connaissances.

• Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience comme analyste en assurance qualité.
