We are seeking a skilled QA & Testing Specialist for a 6-month contract to support testing of privileged access management and identity security solutions, with a strong focus on CyberArk platforms. This role will ensure the quality, security, and reliability of systems managing privileged identities, credentials, and access controls across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute functional, non-functional, and security testing of privileged access management solutions, with a focus on CyberArk components.
  • Validate authentication, authorization, and privileged session workflows across enterprise systems.
  • Perform API testing (REST/SOAP) with emphasis on secure authentication mechanisms and access control validation.
  • Conduct backend data validation using SQL to ensure secure credential storage and data integrity.
  • Review technical requirements, security policies, and user stories related to privileged access and identity governance.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams, engineers, and vendors to define QA strategies and CyberArk-focused test plans.
  • Design and execute test cases and automation scripts covering integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing with a security-first approach.
  • Validate key CyberArk components such as password vaulting, session management, and privileged account onboarding.
  • Identify and assess security risks, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations within privileged access workflows.
  • Prepare secure test data and configure controlled environments for sensitive system testing.
  • Support and oversee User Acceptance Testing, ensuring privileged access scenarios are thoroughly validated.
  • Manage defect and vulnerability lifecycle, including logging, triage, prioritization, and resolution tracking.
  • Facilitate defect triage sessions with stakeholders and ensure timely remediation of issues.
  • Provide regular reporting on QA progress, including defect status, risk exposure, and security metrics.
  • Organize and coordinate test cycles, ensuring secure and compliant testing environments.
  • Contribute to documentation, knowledge transfer, and training related to CyberArk and privileged access processes.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and adhere to QA and security testing best practices.
  • Support additional cybersecurity and QA initiatives as required during the contract period

Deliverables

  • CyberArk-focused QA and testing strategy and approach documentation
  • Test plans, test cases, and scripts covering privileged access and security validation
  • Defect and security vulnerability logs
  • Test execution and security assessment reports (coverage, defects, risk levels)
  • Automated testing scripts, including security and API validation
  • QA status and progress reports
  • Final QA and security sign-off documentation confirming readiness of privileged access systems

Acceptance Criteria

  • All functional and security test cases for privileged access workflows are executed successfully
  • Critical defects and security vulnerabilities are resolved and validated
  • User Acceptance Testing is completed with privileged access scenarios approved
  • Final QA and security sign-off is obtained from stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in QA/testing, with a strong focus on cybersecurity
  • Proven experience testing privileged access management solutions, specifically CyberArk
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test lifecycle, and quality management practices
  • Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional technical and business teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis
  • Experience with large-scale enterprise systems and integrations
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and reporting skills

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of identity and access management concepts, including privileged account lifecycle management
  • Experience with directory services (e.g., Active Directory), federation, and multi-factor authentication
  • Understanding of session monitoring, credential vaulting, and secure access controls
  • Proficiency in API testing with a focus on secure authentication and authorization
  • Experience with test automation tools and CI/CD-integrated QA processes
  • Familiarity with cloud environments and securing privileged access in cloud platforms
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles such as least privilege, zero trust, and secure system design
