What you’ll do
Feed Mill Operator plays a vital role in contributing to the production of high-quality livestock feed through the operations of bulk receiving, mixing, pelleting, and shipping activities at Chilliwack Mill. This position supports uninterrupted production operations by proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Operate production machinery and identify areas to optimize production performance
- Ensure quality and food safety standards are met
- Meet or exceed production targets, record data on production orders and activities
- Execute small maintenance tasks and repair work on production equipment
- Promote awareness of any unsafe situation and take appropriate action
