Position Overview:


The Fitter-Welder will work as part of a team to provide superior service and stakeholder satisfaction through responsibility for project based custom fabrications resulting in a quality and schedule driven environment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):


• Interprets construction drawings (blueprints and general layouts);

• Fitting various metals such as carbon, stainless steel and aluminum;

• Designing and constructing jigs and templates when required;

• Set up and operation of GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, GTAW welding applications;

• Keep all Inland owned or managed equipment, tools and materials in good working condition, including keeping clean and returning to assigned storage areas when not in use;


Required Skills and Experience:


• Secondary Education and/or applicable job experience with welding/fitting

Work Environment:


• This position requires regular on-site attendance to meet immediate business demands.


Physical Demands:


• Must be able to carry, push, pull and lift equipment up to 75 pounds and 50 pounds consistently;

• Position requires the ability to squat, stoop, kneel, bend, stretch, crawl, climb ladders and/or work at heights

in excess of 15 ft to perform role;
