You will be supported in pursuing your CPA designation and you will receive full coverage of exams and modules related to the CPA certification process, as well as other external preparation courses managed through the program. You will receive structured feedback and ongoing support from a CPA career mentor and an exam coach, as well as your rotation manager. Upon completing your last rotation, you will be considered for a full-time Senior Financial Analyst role within our Finance organization.

The three-year program includes dedicated time for vacation, study, and the CPA Professional Readiness Module.

• Assist in researching appropriate accounting treatment for various unusual and complex transactions; prepare accounting memos outlining their financial reporting impacts in accordance with IFRS.
• Prepare audit files and liaise with external auditors.
• Assist in the preparation and execution of audit programs and evaluate the results to draw meaningful conclusions.
• Assist with the preparation of SOX-compliant quarterly and year-end tax provision working papers, including accounting for deferred taxes.
• Assist with the accurate and timely preparation and filing of Canadian income, Canadian capital, U.S. federal, and state tax returns.
• Work with Finance, IT, and other areas of the business to assess control effectiveness and identify process efficiencies and improvements.
• Compile and analyze monthly divisional financial reports for Corporate, Wireless, Cable, and Media management.
• Analyze assigned financial accounts on a monthly basis and prepare corresponding reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze the divisional Statement of Cash Flows on a monthly basis.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and monthly analysis of expenses.

What you’ll have:
• Successful completion of all eligibility requirements for entry into CPA Ontario Foundational Development (by the start date in 2027), including any CPA Qualifying Courses as outlined by CPA Ontario. Please refer to the CPA Ontario website for further details.
• Completion of a university business or commerce undergraduate or master’s degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of B+.
• A strong interest in, and passion for, obtaining your CPA designation and building a career with Rogers.
• Ideally less than one year of professional, full-time experience, such as co-op or internship experience.
• Demonstrated extracurricular involvement and leadership experience outside of the classroom.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Copilot.

Who you are:
• A team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities, learn, and succeed in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
