Air Liquide Canada is seeking a Sales Analyst to join the Western Region Sales team.
The Sales Analyst plays a crucial role in achieving ALCs sales vision by providing comprehensive administrative analytical and data management support to ensure the sales team operates smoothly and efficiently. This position is a key liaison connecting Sales Finance and Marketing. Primary responsibilities include maintaining data accuracy ensuring pricing compliance generating performance reports and supporting strategic growth initiatives.

Air Liquide Canada is the number one Canadian producer and distributor of gases derived from air.
Prepares analyzes and sales reports : Monitors sales progress and records information. Uses relevant software to produce detailed analysis and sales reports. Interprets reports and makes recommendations as business progresses and raises unprofitable activities. Collaborates in the annual budget preparation process.
Manage agreements prepare bids and proposals : Monitor and manage agreements by updating the list of agreements and monitoring deadlines. Produces lists for sales teams highlighting risky agreements (whose expiry date is running out) and agreements to be renegotiated (which the client does not want to renew automatically). Writes quotes and proposals for account managers and clients. Provide advice as needed. Is responsible for monitoring commitments made to clients. Evaluates the deadlines for submitting and relaunching a proposal.
Reviews and increases prices : Participate in the preparation of the price increase program. Ensures the price increase program is followed using the relevant tools. Organizes the communication of price increases to customers and account managers.
Compliance and process improvement : Support account managers through training and coaching on various tools (Sales Force etc.). Ensures the correct application of procedures. Works with his team and other cross-functional teams to continuously improve work processes. Analyzes its activity identifies the causes of dysfunction and proposes appropriate corrective measures. Suggest new methods and contribute to the development of new tools to improve the processes and follow-ups of the sales teams action plans.
Financial & Pricing Management : Manage and process pricing requests ensuring adherence to established company guidelines and margin targets. Coordinate the annual entry and tracking of Purchase Orders (POs) into the financial system to ensure accurate revenue recognition and forecasting.
Reporting & Analytics : Prepare and distribute accurate reports tailored for the District Manager providing insights into sales performance pipeline health and strategic business trends. Conduct ad-hoc and routine analysis of sales data to identify areas for efficiency improvement revenue opportunity and operational bottlenecks. Sales Data & Process Integrity : Maintain the integrity of data within the CRM (Salesforce) system ensuring alignment with EOM reporting metrics. Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies promptly. Oversee the process for new account creation ensuring proper validation data entry and timely assignment to the appropriate Account Executive. Execute regular data quality initiatives including auditing and cleansing outdated duplicate or inaccurate customer records.
Strategic & Retention Support : Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Leadership to identify and segment target lists for new business campaigns based on analytical criteria. Assist in analyzing customer churn data identifying root causes and providing actionable feedback to the sales and customer success teams to improve retention strategies.
Quality / Safety : Actively promote ALCs safety and quality objectives.

Diploma : Bachelors degree in Administration Marketing or any other relevant discipline
Experience : 2 years of relevant experience
Knowledge : Knowledge of Oracle OBIEE SAP (or other ERP) Power BI Sales Force (or other CRM). Proficiency in Google (Sheets and Slides) or MS Office (Excel and PPT) applications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
