Full-time Employee role: Blue Sky Consulting is growing, and we’re looking for an ERP Business Analyst with 5+ years of accounting experience who thrives at the intersection of finance and technology. If you understand debits and credits and can translate business needs into ERP solutions, we want to talk to you. About the Role: You will work closely with finance teams, controllers, and executive stakeholders to analyze processes, gather requirements, and deliver ERP solutions — primarily within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and related ecosystems. This role is ideal for someone who: - Has a strong accounting foundation - Strong understanding of ERP implementation - Understands financial reporting, controls, and audit processes - Enjoys improving systems and optimizing workflows - Can bridge the gap between finance and technical teams Responsibilities - Lead discovery sessions and requirement workshops - Analyze accounting and financial processes (GL, AP, AR, FA, inventory, job costing) - Translate business needs into functional specifications - Configure and validate ERP finance modules - Support UAT, training, and go-live activities - Advise clients on best practices, internal controls, and process optimization - Collaborate with developers and technical consultants Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of progressive accounting experience - ERP understanding and experience - Strong understanding of financial statements, month-end close, and audit support - Consulting experience - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred: - CPA designation (or in progress) - Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
