The rate of pay will be $65 - $80K / year
Monday through Friday
Position Summary :
Support day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, payroll, AP / AR, and related administrative functions
Assist with the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements
Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow tracking, and budget monitoring processes
Monitor financial performance and prepare variance analysis with recommendations for review
Help ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, WCB, and applicable federal, provincial, and local requirements
Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions
Maintain financial controls, support process improvements, and provide financial support to the Controller, leadership, and department managers
Required Qualifications :
Minimum of 4 years of accounting / finance experience
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to advise and collaborate
Familiar with accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills
Bonus Points For :
Post-secondary education in accounting / finance
Experience with ERP or accounting systems (ie. Sage)
