Job Purpose
TerraPro is seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting equipment and mats to site locations in a safe and efficient manner.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Safely transport allocated mats and equipment for specified projects using a variety of tractor-trailer combinations.
- Diagnose basic issues with truck and perform general maintenance.
- Transport equipment and mats to off-road temporary road and adverse weather conditions.
- Comply with DOT and all interprovincial regulations.
- Ensure Cargo is secured as per NSC 10 regulation.
- Record Cargo information hours of service distance travelled and fuel expenditures.
- Maintain hours of service logbook as well as pre and post trip inspections.
- Flexibility to accommodate overnight stays including sleeping in a truck when required.
