Job Summary
Under the direction of the Executive Director of the Program Management Office (PMO), the Program Manager is focused on improving AFL’s end-to-end delivery on all aspects of assigned programsin four distinct regions. The incumbent in this role leads ateam of professionals, as well as project coordination / administration support, managing overall resources and work,in order to meet Program targets. In doing so, the primary focus willbe sustainable growth,profitabilityand standardization;and ensuring strong and engaged stakeholder relationships.
Specific Responsibilities and Resulting Outcomes
- Ensure SOWsareclearly defined and communicated with clarity on roles and accountability.
- Prepare for andfacilitateweekly update meetingswith Drop Managers, Project Managers, ISG Managers, Drop Co-ordination, Deploymentfor each of the four regions, addressing challenges, successes, capacity, resources, responsibilities,etc.
- Regularly meetwith Project Managers and other members of the project team asapplicable.
- Prepare and provide status reports to internal stakeholders, including Finance and the ExecutiveTeam.
- Liaise with Finance in regard toclient invoicing, time sheets, etc.; approve invoices for external contract work.
- Build and foster strong client relations, acting as primary point ofcontact.
- Meet with and provide regular updates toclient.
- Support Field and Program team in managing deliverables as per SOW, when needed (i.e. managing Drop placement)
- Provide business and technological support to projects andprograms.
- Developstandard processes and requirementsto beadhered to by all projects.
- Provide input into proposals based on experience and technologicalknowledge.
- Help build andmaintainpositive relations within theteam
- Protect organizations’ values by keeping informationconfidential
- Enhance organizational reputation by accepting ownership foraccomplishingrequests and exploring opportunities to addvalue to jobaccomplishment
- Adhere to and promote the environmental,health & safety policies ofAFL
- Employeemay be asked to perform other ancillary or related duties as required, to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
