Who we are looking for

As the Water Program Director you will lead program and project teams with a focus on delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients. Your role will encompass providing strategic program management leadership driving both business development and client pursuits to expand our impact. You will be pivotal in preparing and presenting bids proposals and estimates ensuring that each submission reflects our commitment to excellence and innovation. Your leadership will not only guide your team to success but also enhance our reputation as a leader in sustainable water management solutions.

Youll be able to apply our powerful global network of skills and decades of experience to create positive water outcomes that respect nature and nurture communities.

Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in :

  • Provide program management leadership across major water programs in Ontario and potentially across the Americas
  • Provide leadership in helping to upskill staff and existing processes and systems to improve program management capability within the business
  • Work with Water Market Leaders to identify business opportunities within the water sector.
  • Develop client relationships including ensuring proactive positioning for upcoming opportunities
  • In collaboration with Water leadership establish relevant project teams for all opportunities and engagements
  • Work with Water leadership to identify team growth and development needs
  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships across key clients and industry sectors.
  • Focused business development to support the success and development of the business
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients Project Directors PM Group Team Leads Project / Job Managers and project team members

What you will bring to the team :

  • Minimum 15 years experience in the delivery of Programs and complex Projects in the water sector
  • Understanding of and commitment to Project Management best practices and minimum standards
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and manage successful program and project delivery
  • Ability to work within complex environments responding positively to evolving constraints
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to develop relevant Project Controls systems
  • Experience across a number of Project Controls tools and systems
  • Leadership and people development focus
  • Focus on personal safety and safe working practices
  • Flexibility to travel
  • Availability to work flexible hours based on project requirements and deadlines.
