The successful candidate will lead a team of skilled sheet metal workers, provide guidance and training, and collaborate with other departments to meet production goals. If you are a motivated and experienced sheet metal professional looking to lead a team and contribute to a dynamic organization, please submit your application.Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate sheet metal activities, including layout, cutting, forming, assembly and instillation.
Plan and schedule production workflows to meet deadlines and optimize resource utilization.
Ensure quality control measures are in place, conducting regular inspections to maintain high standards.
Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to sheet metal workers, promoting skill development and safety awareness.
Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and implement new technologies.
Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and maintenance activities.
Implement and enforce safety protocols, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.
Perform performance evaluations, address employee concerns, and recommend disciplinary actions when necessary.
Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve processes.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and instillation with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes, materials, and equipment.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications.
Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control procedures.
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.

Working Conditions:

Work in a fast-paced on-site environment with frequent walking, standing, and occasional lifting.
Exposure to loud noises, metal dust, and other hazards associated with sheet metal fabrication.
