This industry-leading pharmaceutical company in Downtown Montreal is looking for a Product Designer

Additional information :

Contract in consultation

Term : 12 months

Start date : March 2025

Schedule : (37.5h / week)

Responsibilities

  • Here are the responsibilities for this Product Designer at this pharmaceutical industry leader in Downtown Montreal;
  • Analyze various needs (user, business, regulatory, etc.) and define system specifications, taking into account technical and functional requirements;
  • Identify, evaluate and analyze product risks;
  • Participate in product verification and validation;
  • Participate in usability testing with customers;
  • Manage requirements traceability;
  • Write quality documents related to product design and development in compliance with applicable standards and procedures to ensure product quality and safety;
  • Participate in training and customer support for our system;
  • Participate in the maintenance of existing products;
  • Work in an Agile and Scrum environment;
  • Interact with different teams to explore new technologies in order to achieve above-standard reliability and product quality, enabling the company to maintain its position as a

position in the industry.

Qualifications

  • Here are the qualifications required for this Product Designer at this pharmaceutical industry leader in Downtown Montreal;
  • Skills and abilities

  • You are a creative and analytical thinker with a reputation for finding new solutions to complex problems.
  • You are a self-starter with a high tolerance for ambiguity and an ability to manage priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • You have a very good ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, with experience in Agile methodology and excellent communication skills.
  • You are meticulous and organized, detail-oriented and good at writing accurate and concise reports.
  • Ability to work alone using communication platforms (Outlook, Webex, Teams, etc.).
  • STRENGTH : Knowledge of various manufacturing processes (machining, turning, etc.). F-01694A
  • STRENGTHS : You have knowledge of CAD systems (SolidWorks an asset) and geometric tolerancing (GD&T - ASME Y14.5-2009).
  • STRENGTHS : You have knowledge of quality control (measurement methods, measuring instruments, measurement variation, R&R guarantee).
  • STRENGTH : You have experience in a highly regulated environment (ISO 13485) and in a contract manufacturing context.
  • STRENGTH : You have a keen interest in the orthopedic field and in improving people's quality of life.
  • You are comfortable working in a bilingual environment (French and English). Education and experience requirements
  • You are a mechanical engineer with 3 to 5 years' diversified professional experience in mechanical design in a highly regulated industry (aerospace, biomedical, etc.).
  • Travel requirements

  • Possibility of up to 10% of annual time for travel as required.
