IMMEDIATE INTERIM OPPORTUNITY
Interim Strategic Advisor – Finance Process Optimization
Reports : VP Corporate Services & CFO
Duration : 3 Months
Location : Ontario, Canada
Remote (Occasional onsite presence required)
Our client, a highly respected complex, publicly funded organization, is looking to add an experienced professional to their team to add capacity and capability to lead a finance process optimization project. This is a key initiative as our client executes an enterprise-wide transformation to automate processes, reduce risk and improve customer service. If you enjoy a challenge, have deep system implementation and process optimization skills combined with being a strong technical finance professional, then this will be the perfect assignment for you.
Key Accountabilities :
- Manage and oversee the finance process optimization project which will provide an actionable plan to implement improvements to the organization’s policies, processes, procedures, and systems which will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the budgeting and capital planning function.
- Lead the process mapping exercise to assess opportunities to utilize technology and benchmarked best practices to improve efficiency.
- Lead and implement the approved action plan and change initiatives that drive standardization, automation, and process efficiencies to improve the overall fiscal planning experience.
- Manage the development and implementation of new procedures and controls to enhance the workflow of the budgeting and capital planning teams.
- Assess the current ERP module utilization and opportunities to unlock efficiencies.
- Partner with the operational managers in the budgeting and capital planning teams to ensure the adoption and sustainability of the new processes.
