Join the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario as a Full Time Facility Services Worker in North Bay. Ensure a clean, comfortable environment while promoting wellness and community.
This role under the Facility Services Manager focuses on maintaining safety and functionality at the YMCA's Chippewa location. You'll perform cleaning tasks, monitor supplies, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Build strong relationships with members and support YMCA programming through your dedicated efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform thorough cleaning tasks throughout the facility
• Monitor and restock supplies in restrooms and fitness areas
• Conduct hourly whirlpool tests and record results
• Maintain a hazard-free work environment
• Ensure WHMIS compliance and maintain certification
Requirements:
• Strong interpersonal skills for member engagement
• Basic literacy and math abilities
• WHMIS and First Aid certifications required
• Previous experience with floor cleaning equipment is an asset
• Clear Police Record with Vulnerable Sector Check required
