Job description
Adecco is currently hiring a full-time CNC Operator to join our client's manufacturing team in Nisku, AB. In this role you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating CNC machines, producing high-quality parts, and supporting overall plant operations to ensure orders are completed and shipped on time. This position requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Pay Rate: $27.00 - $ 30.00/hour
  • Location: Nisku, AB
  • Schedule: Monday to Thursday | 7:15am - 4:00pm
  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:
CNC Operation & Production
  • Interpret production order information including part descriptions, material grades, documents, and drawings.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to operate CNC machines accurately and responsibly.
  • Program CNC machines according to work instructions and customer specifications.
  • Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines; adjust programs or settings as required.
  • Use measuring tools, gauges, and controls to verify product accuracy and quality.
  • Manufacture routine, complex, and non-routine parts from raw materials.
  • Complete and sign off production orders and documentation as required.
Material Handling
  • Safely maneuver raw materials and finished products using overhead cranes and pallet jacks.
  • Ensure materials are handled with care to prevent damage; report defects or concerns to the Plant Supervisor.
Workflow & Efficiency
  • Plan and prioritize workload to meet deadlines and production requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with the Plant Supervisor to address issues or delays.
  • Complete work orders within required timelines while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
Maintenance & Documentation
  • Maintain CNC machine area and equipment daily; report maintenance concerns promptly.
  • Complete product documentation and ensure routing of finished product and paperwork to appropriate areas.
  • Record time, switch codes, scan router operations, and enter product quantities into the system.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2+ years of CNC machining experience.
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • CNC Machinist/Operator certificate considered an asset.
  • General knowledge of products and services related to the oil and gas industry.
  • Understanding of safe work practices, Quality Assurance standards, and Continuous Improvement (Lean Manufacturing) principles.
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
