Senior B-Pressure Welders $45/hr Day Shifts Nisku, Alberta

Are you ready to join a premier energy services and custom shop facility based directly in Nisku, Alberta? We are actively seeking skilled B-Pressure Welders to join our hardworking shop team. This is a high-volume, fast-moving environment that demands top quality on heavy structural builds and pressure piping systems.

Location: Nisku, Alberta

Start Date: Immediate Entry

Responsibilities
🛠️ Perform precise, X-ray standard B-Pressure welds across various carbon steel and alloy piping setups.

🛠️ Strictly follow all ASME and CWB fabrication specifications based on customer engineering requirements.

🛠️ Accurately interpret and work from detailed blueprints, ISO drawings, and spool layout sheets.

🛠️ Complete essential weld tracking records and quality paperwork to maintain full material accountability.

🛠️ Keep up a steady production pace to hit shop deadlines, while prioritizing safety protocols above all else.

🛠️ Collaborate closely with steamfitters and QC inspectors to ensure smooth work progression across shifts.

Qualifications
🏆 An active, valid Alberta B-Pressure Certificate is mandatory for this role.

🏆 Proven experience executing code-quality pipe welding in heavy manufacturing or industrial shop facilities.

🏆 High proficiency in SMAW, GMAW, and MCAW processes (additional TIG/GTAW tickets are a strong asset).

🏆 Prepared to pass a rigorous pre-employment shop weld test (typically 6-inch schedule 80 carbon pipe).

🏆 Strong mechanical acumen with the ability to complete tasks efficiently without direct supervision.

🏆 Reliable personal transportation for commuting to Nisku, along with your own trade hand tools and hood.

🏆 Complete commitment to upholding strict safety rules while working under active production schedules.
