Be the Backbone of Major Industrial Projects

At PTW, we don't just build electrical and instrumentation solutions; we help power some of the most important industrial projects in Western Canada. Behind every successful project is a strong administrative professional keeping everything aligned, organized, and moving at full speed.

We're looking for a Construction Administrator who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and takes pride in being the person who keeps the project engine running smoothly. This is a hands-on, highly involved site role where your work directly supports field teams, project leaders, and client deliverables every single day.

If you enjoy variety, responsibility, and being at the centre of project activity rather than sitting on the sidelines, this role is built for you.

What You'll Be Part Of

You won't just "do admin work," you'll be actively driving project flow and supporting real-time construction operations.

In this role, you will:

  • Keep projects moving by managing fast-paced site documentation, daily reporting, and project correspondence
  • Act as a key connection point between field teams, project managers, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Own the accuracy and flow of daily timesheets, payroll inputs, and workforce updates
  • Support project financials through accounts payable processing and invoice tracking
  • Coordinate the movement of critical materials and documentation through shipping, courier, and logistics support
  • Track, organize, and help push forward submittals from vendors and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule
  • Troubleshoot administrative gaps in real time to support field operations
  • Keep the site office running smoothly so the field team can stay focused on execution
  • Be a go-to problem solver when things move fast and priorities shift

What Makes You Successful Here

  • 3+ years of experience in administration, project coordination, accounting, or construction support
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel for tracking and reporting)
  • Experience in construction, industrial, or oil & gas environments is a strong asset
  • Naturally organized, fast-moving, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
  • Strong communicator who can work with both field crews and office teams
  • Detail-driven, dependable, and confident working in a high-activity environment
  • Safety-minded and aligned with PTW's field-first culture

Why PTW

Real Impact, Every Day

Your work directly supports active construction projects—what you do shows up in the field immediately.

Fast-Paced, Never Repetitive

No two days are the same. You'll be exposed to multiple project functions and real-time problem solving.

Strong, Stable Work Environment

PTW offers a steady project pipeline and long-term opportunities across Alberta's industrial sector.

A Team That Relies on You

You're not "back office," you're a critical part of the project team.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation
  • RRSP matching program
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • Opportunities for growth within a growing industrial organization

At PTW, we value the people who keep everything connected behind the scenes. If you're someone who takes ownership, moves quickly, and enjoys being at the centre of project activity, we'd love to meet you.
