THE ROLE
This is a full-time role within the social media team. In this role, you will report to the Director, Social Media, working closely with the social media and marketing teams. Your work will contribute to the areas of venue marketing, communications, and event marketing ranging from clubs to stadium level concerts across Canada. You will be part of the team responsible for organic social posting, social content development, and customer service, including night of show content capture and posting.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Posting across several social channels with high public visibility, and quick pace of output, always ensuring required approvals are in place
Posting night of show content for concerts, events, venues, and festivals, including during evenings and on weekends
Managing an extensive content calendar with shifting timelines and priorities, across multiple platforms, and working with various stakeholders
Writing copy and pairing with assets for use for various venue brands, and across a variety of different scenarios, genres, and channels
Proofing content and copy to ensure quality and accuracy of all assets before posting
Generating assets for venue and brand campaigns
Troubleshooting, escalating, and responding to a high volume of customer service inquiries and DMs
Responsiveness on high level issues in real time, including during evenings and weekends
Collaborating with other team members to build and execute content plans for key events and venues
Create regular recaps and reporting to test and track metrics, and provide data-driven recommendations
Staying current on relevant social media platforms and opportunities that would be appropriate for Live Nation Canada’s channels
Collaborating with, and supporting, other departments and areas of the business
Working within shared calendars, tracking documents, and project management platforms
Participating in special projects and performing other related duties as requested.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
3-5 years of experience with key platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X, Youtube, Snap, Tik Tok, and other social media platforms
While this is a 10-6 in-office role, availability to work on evenings and weekends will be required.
Proficiency with Google Workspace, Asana, Slack, Sprout, Canva, and other workplace tools
Basic graphic design skills including resizing and editing assets for social media
A passion for events, marketing, and social media
Clear and persuasive copywriting skills with the ability to adjust based on different formats, brands, and tones
An exceptional ability to multi-task, stay organized, and manage multiple tight deadlines and high volume across a team, while staying adaptable to changing priorities and project needs.
Strong analytical skills to create impactful reporting, identify insights, and make data-driven decisions
A creative thinker and self-starter who thrives in a high-pressure environment and has the ability to take direction while also displaying strong personal initiative
A positive, proactive attitude, incorporating integrity, confidentiality and discretion
Ability to thrive within a team environment

The expected compensation for this position in Ontario is: $70,000-75,000
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Sits for extended periods of time at a computer station or work desk; stands and walks throughout the day; occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.; uses hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment for up to 8 hours each day; lifts up to 10 pounds regularly; exposed to typical office environment conditions and noise levels.
