Job Description

Hours : 37.5 hours per week
Salary : $30.50 - $38.12 per hour
Shifts : Days
Status : Permanent Full Time

Duties
Provides technical support of IT application(s) and department users
- Maintains strong knowledge of supported applications for the Joint Department of Medical Imaging
- Troubleshooting and management of DICOM and HL7 interfaces
- Provides day to day support of applications including working with customers, HIS analysts, and other vendors in troubleshooting and identifying options to resolve issues
- Performs application testing of new releases, upgrades, fixes and other product changes
- Participation in roadmap planning for application upgrades in conjunction with business users and vendors
- Workstation management including hardware / software level troubleshooting, and workstation setup / deployment
- Provides customer service in the form of end user meetings (clinical or business); attend and / or facilitate monthly established end user meetings or ad hoc meetings
- Periodic assignment to Digital projects e.g. Epic Optimization Phase demand items, new application implementation or integration
- Provides advice, guidance and training to end-users in the operation of supported application(s)
- Identifies training requirements / opportunities to improve application support
- Documents system problems and resolutions for future reference
- Participates in an on-call roster for 24 / 7 support coverage
