Job description

We are looking for a GIS Specialist to join our team and support geospatial data analysis, mapping, and spatial problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and related technologies to create, analyze, and manage spatial data.

Key Responsibilities :

Utilize GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS, etc.) to analyze and visualize spatial data.

Develop and maintain GIS databases, maps, and reports.

Perform spatial analysis, geocoding, and remote sensing tasks.

Support teams with GIS solutions in urban planning, environmental studies, and other domains.

Ensure data accuracy and integrity in GIS projects.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide geospatial insights and solutions.

Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field.

Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar tools).

Experience with spatial analysis, mapping, and geoprocessing.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with programming languages (Python, SQL, or JavaScript for GIS applications).

Knowledge of remote sensing, GPS, and cartography.

Prior work in urban planning, telecom, agriculture, or environmental sectors.
