We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to support procurement and contract management activities for operational and project-based work. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering contracts throughout their lifecycle, coordinating competitive procurement activities, maintaining contract documentation, and working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure contractual obligations are met.

This role requires a highly organized professional who can manage multiple priorities while providing commercial and administrative support in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer contracts from award through closeout, including amendments, renewals, extensions, and change orders.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain contract documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
  • Support the development and administration of Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and other competitive procurement processes.
  • Coordinate supplier communications, contract documentation, and approvals.
  • Track contract milestones, deliverables, expirations, and key dates.
  • Monitor contract performance and identify potential risks, issues, or opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate contract records and filing systems within contract management and ERP systems.
  • Assist with invoice reviews, payment verification, and contract compliance.
  • Work closely with Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and project teams to support contract administration activities.
  • Prepare reports, contract summaries, and status updates for stakeholders.
  • Ensure all procurement and contract activities comply with company policies and applicable regulations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in contract administration, procurement, supply chain, or commercial administration.
  • Experience administering contracts throughout their lifecycle, including amendments, renewals, change orders, and closeout.
  • Experience supporting competitive procurement activities such as RFPs, RFQs, and supplier evaluations.
  • Strong understanding of contract terms and conditions and contract documentation.
  • Experience working with ERP and contract management systems (SAP experience preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple contracts and competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
  • Experience supporting industrial, mining, energy, manufacturing, or large infrastructure projects is preferred.
  • SCMP, CIPS, or related procurement certification is considered an asset.
