High Level Description:

• Plan and ensure annual completion of the Measurement Canada High and Low Intervention regulatory requirements, in cooperation with Measurement Engineering, Field Measurement and Asset Data Management.

• Develop, execute and enforce the gas quality program including standards, procedures, coordination & reporting. This may include providing regular presentations to senior leadership and leading or participating in dedicated studies.

• Review and approve third-party PC/OPP designs and annual reporting.

• Support Enbridge Lost & Unaccounted For (LUF) management to ensure tolerances are maintained.

• Provide day-to-day technical and troubleshooting support to resolve equipment and measurement data issues in a timely manner.

• Act as a subject matter expert for various vendor supplied devices such as meters, analyzers, EFM/RTU, Line break, PC/OPP systems, etc.

• Perform technical calculations including but not limited to blow down calculations, max/min flow, and equipment sizing.

• Develop business cases by obtaining input from various stakeholders, participating in risk ranking sessions, obtaining cost estimates from Project Development and providing technically sound and cost-effective treatment options.

• Liaise with external customers and engineering firms.

• Assist Measurement Engineering in the development and maintenance of measurement standards, specifications and typicals.

• Apply the Management of Change (MOC) Program to equipment and system changes.

Role Scope:

• Responsible for supporting compliance with applicable regulations; codes; company policy; standards and specifications; and industry best practices.

• Provide deep senior technical expertise and coordinate small teams to ensure work is completed to meet design and/or regulatory requirements within budget and allocated timelines.

• Influences personnel and facility safety through technical input into the Operational Risk Management program, root cause failure analyses, and lessons learned.

• Proven track record of working within a team environment and ability to work with minimal oversight.

• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships, partnerships with key stakeholders and influence without authority.

• Expertise with industrial controllers used in measurement applications, such as Bristol ControlWave and FB1200/FB3000.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, coordination and presentation skills.

Working Conditions:
