Job description

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our Quality team. In this role, you will support quality assurance and compliance activities to ensure products and processes meet internal quality standards. This is a hands-on position involving inspections, sampling, documentation review, inventory support, and coordination with multiple departments across site operations.

Pay: $20-$25/hour

Day Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine in-process inspections and quality checks on products, materials, and production activities
  • Support environmental monitoring activities, including air monitoring, surface swabs, water sampling, and testing support
  • Conduct product sampling for in-process, finished product, and retention samples according to SOPs
  • Review production records, logs, and documentation for completeness and accuracy
  • Assist with preventive maintenance and calibration record audits
  • Support incoming material inspections and verify supplier documentation
  • Assist with inventory control, storage condition checks, and stock reconciliation
  • Perform quality checks on outgoing shipments to ensure proper labeling, documentation, and product status
  • Collaborate with Cultivation, Processing, Inventory, and Shipping & Receiving teams to maintain compliance and product quality
  • Escalate deviations, discrepancies, or non-conformances to QA as needed
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and inspection readiness activities

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; post-secondary education in a related field is considered an asset
  • Previous experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or a related field is preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
