Shift: Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 4:30pm

In this role, you will:

Ensure completed daily inspections on forklifts including identifying any safety concerns
Ensure lumber receiving is clean and running efficiently by monitoring stock and supply
Unload truck in a safe and timely manner
Monitor lumber inventory and ensure Lumber Purchaser and Breakout Leadership are aware of any concern or shortages
Making sure to follow lumber usage sheet to help stay within the optimal amount used from each mill
Communicate with each workstation to ensure materials are supplied in a timely manner
Understand and follow inbound loads tracker

You will bring:

Positive work experience in current position
Knowledge of Loewen quality standards
Experience using AS400
Considerable 8000lbs forklift experience
Strong verbal and written skills
Strong multitasker
Excellent organizational skills
Able to calculate BBF
