The Sales Support position will provide support to the selling team and nurture long-term relationships with current accounts for Area 3 (Canada + New York). The position will also manage an assigned book of business by the approach to cultivate, nurture, and expand existing relationships. This position coordinates outside Sales team activities and supports the design, development and support of systems and marketing collateral utilized by Sales. The Sales Support position is a liaison for the Sales team to other parts of the organization. The position will provide research and data associated with current customers in support of renewals, retention and new account acquisition.

The Sales Support position is focused on establishing & maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders at the account involved in the amenities of environmental solutions. Employs a diverse set of tactics to monitor account risk, increase customer spend, facilitate renewal/extension of contracts, execute prescribe (or develop) retention plans, identify opportunities to streamline transactions to provide superior customer service. You will collaborate with our internal teams to meet and exceed our customers' expectations. Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to overall Reworld Sales strategy in collaboration with Sales and Sales leadership.

  • Assist in identifying, prioritizing and executing market research analysis in support of overall Sales Growth strategy.

  • Manage process for tracking and responding to RFPs and proposals.

  • Prepare and review sales reports to proactively identify risks and opportunities to increase customer spending within existing accounts.

  • Assists & gathers information related to audit packages, price increases, contract renewals, including RFPs.

  • Monitors accounts at risk of attrition and develop customer-specific plans in coordination with Sales, Operations, Profiling and Solutions team.

  • Provides information to Sales Managers to support market trends, competitive pricing, and deal structure best practices. Assist with proposal creation.

  • Analyze variances between customer prices versus costs and propose changes.

  • Generates personalized customer metric reports on a monthly, quarterly and/or annual basis or as needed, utilizing internal support.

  • Identifies process gaps and lead the development of SOPs and/or guidelines between Reworld and customer for seamless transactions.

    Collaborate with Sales team and marketing team in creating content and supporting marketing/branding efforts for Reworld.

    Responsible for management of a selected portfolio of customer accounts and new business.

  • Works closely across all departments, such as, but not limited to, materials profiling team, material compliance (QA/QC), scheduling, dispatch, sales, supply chain, operations, etc. to resolve issues and/or exchange client information.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of customer service and/or sales experience

  • Undergraduate degree strongly preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience with data analysis

  • Fluently Bilingual, English and French

  • Strong interpersonal skills that build rapport and trust.

  • Ability to connect with a wide range of client stakeholders, up to the corporate level.

  • Desire to maximize earnings and grow book of business.

  • Knowledge of various sales methods and techniques.

  • Pleasant and professional telephone presence.

  • Detailed oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Proficient with basic computer hardware and software (Office 365, Power BI and CRM Programs).

  • Works well under pressure, manages time well and balances multiple tasks.

  • Adapts to change well, takes initiative & pays attention to details.

  • Ability to work flexible hours when business demand requires.

  • Hazardous Waste, Transportation of Dangerous goods and WHMIS training preferred

  • Periodic travel is expected as part of the job requirements.
