Title: Senior Logistics Coordinator
Region: Marieville

The Senior Logistics Coordinator is a pivotal role responsible for the end-to-end management of domestic and international truck shipments.

You will navigate the shipments from point A to point B, manage relationships with carriers and customs brokers, and optimize the shipping to ensure timely delivery and cost-efficiency.

Seeking a talented individual with a minimum of 5 years experience in logistics.

Region: Marieville
Permanent full time Monday to Friday, day shift, flexible hours
Salary based on experience between 75k and 86k
Insurance package covered 60% by employer
RSP program with 3% match
3 weeks vacation + additional personal days
Yearly bonus program

Responsibilities
- Oversee all trucking import and export operations and ensure compliance with international trade regulations and local laws.
- Prepare and verify essential shipping documents, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, and Bills of Lading, PAPS, PARs, ACE, ACI
- Negotiate rates and service contracts transport partners and domestic carriers. Monitor performance metrics (KPIs) to ensure high service standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customs brokers to ensure smooth clearance and minimize duties/taxes through proper HTS classification.
- Verify accuracy of all shipping and received products against the purchase orders, shipping documents and inventory records, documenting and investigating any damaged or missing freight.
- Manage and resolve any transportation errors, delays, claims and more
- Support the warehouse operations in loading/unloading when necessary

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in logistics with a strong knowledge of import/export procedures, customs documentation and warehouse coordination.
- Strong ability to manage multiple shipment schedules and meeting deadlines
- Proven experience with Excel, Word, ERP, WMS Systems (asset)
- Detail-oriented, strong problem-solving skills, excellent prioritization skills.
