Magnet is helping our client, a privately owned CPG Food Organization, look for a Sales & Marketing Analyst to join their team and lead a new business venture for the company.
Reporting to the Trade Marketing Manager, the Sales & Marketing Analyst will be responsible to support the tasks required in the ownership, management & development of the operational and strategic activities / templates and reports used in the evaluation and decision making process of multiple ongoing projects stemming from our suppliers, our brands or field sales requirements.
Responsibilities Include :
- Support the operational and strategic activities for the adequate execution of Trade Marketing plan
- Assist in developing category / brand trade decks, focusing on using facts and data to create a cohesive sales story
- Preparation of reports and presentations to assist in decision making and applying data insights from multiple data sources
- Support for the execution of projects and activities with commercial partners
- Assist with activities related to in-store merchandising, such as communication with the supplier and alignment of execution strategies
- Assist in measuring the performance and impact of promotional initiatives
- Support control of promotional funds (trade investment)
- Support and guidance to the sales force in various activities
Qualifications / Requirements
The successful candidate for this role must be Bilingual (French / English) both oral and writtenIdeal candidate needs to reside in Montreal or greater Montreal areaUniversity Bachelor’s degreeDemonstrate strong analytical and organizational skills (able to handle multiple priorities, problem solve, meet targets, build reviews)Advanced knowledge of the MS-Office package (Excel and PowerPoint are a must)Knowledge / understanding of Syndicated Data (eg Nielsen) preferred2+ Years experience in Trade, Marketing, or other Business Operations preferredKnowledge of CPG or retail industry preferred (Confectionery is a plus)
