Your opportunity :
In this role, you will join the Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto, where innovation, technology, and human-centered perspectives drive our research and educational excellence. As a key member of our IT team, you will work within a dynamic, collaborative environment focused on delivering high-impact technology solutions across the faculty. Reporting to the Director of Technology Services, you will divide your time between leading IT projects and overseeing audio-visualneeds, contributing to the strategic and operational success of the faculty's IT systems. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of technology services that support teaching, research, and administration.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Analyzing the security and integrity of highly complex system problems and / or implications of any new or changed procedure or technology
- Developing and updating architectural framework for highly complex and confidential university-wide IT systems
- Advising on the creation of efficiencies for business processes and productivity
- Leading and planning IT projects
- Developing charter, scope, resources and schedule for project(s)
- Costing shop level projects
